Mandeville, La. – The first annual “No Home Goes Hungry” Realtor food drive was held this past holiday season to collect food for the Food Bank in Covington. Over 1.3 tons of food was collected thanks to many generous businesses on the North Shore. One of those businesses is Turner Real Estate Group.
As a sponsor of the food drive, Turner Real Estate Group collected non-perishable food items that were distributed to many local families in need.
“We were happy to be a part of this great fundraiser sponsored by the North Shore Real Estate Community,” says Wayne Turner, Owner/Broker of Turner Real Estate Group in Mandeville. “I’m pleased that my company was able to contribute to such a wonderful local cause.”
The positive response to the food drive was overwhelming, and the businesses involved including Turner Real Estate Group hope that the event will be as successful in 2013.
